One is too narrow. Five is too many to remember. Three gives you flexibility while maintaining focus. Examples: Transparency, Craftsmanship, Speed. Or: Education, Community, Innovation.
Your 3 content pillars are the themes you post about. They support your values but are more tactical. A pillar might be "Build Transparency" (showing code), "Design Education" (teaching aesthetics), or "Launch Strategy" (distribution tactics).

Instagram shows your last 9 posts in a 3x3 grid on your profile. This is the first impression. Plan these 9 posts together to create visual cohesion and strategic balance across your pillars.
Random posting creates visual chaos. Planning 9 posts lets you balance: pillar distribution (3 posts per pillar), format variety (mix carousels/reels/singles), and aesthetic consistency (colors, style, energy).
